Hi, I’m Houston
Houston is 2 years of age, and with good care from his new human, he will have many years ahead. He is a very affectionate fellow who loves smooching and being with his human friends. If you love big ginger cats (5.5 kgs) that give you head bops and purr loudly, he's your man. For his health and longevity in your home, please read on:-
DIET/CARE-A diet of high-quality dry biscuits, wet food & bowls of fresh, cool water is perfect. Regular vet visits are important. A temporary launch room will help Houston adjust to your home.
INSIDE LIFESTYLE. Houston doesn't have to be outdoors to have fun (it's dangerous out there). He can have an exciting, inside lifestyle with the addition of a couple of large cat scratchers, toys, warm beds and cardboard boxes.
FRIENDS - Houston's past is unknown to us as he most likely became lost from his former home. With no microchip to return him home, the history of who his friends (children, cats or dogs) were has vanished unfortunately. Houston would love a home were he could laze about (as ginger boys do) and not worry about his future.
His adoption price includes:
- A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food
- His desexing, microchip and vaccinations
Adoption Price: $185

Please note:
- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.
- The website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you have completed the Apply to Adopt form the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party.
- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
