Meet Grace - A Gentle Soul Ready for Love
Grace is a sweet, shy girl who just needs a little time and patience to feel safe. She can alarm bark when worried, so slow introductions to new people and places are important-and she'll need to approach in her own time.
Once she knows you, Grace becomes a loving and affectionate companion who adores gentle pats and rolling around in your lap for cuddles.
She enjoys her walks but can be a bit tense when her harness goes on, so a calm, steady approach is best. She can also be fussy with food, so she'll need a bit of trial and error to find her favorites.
Grace would do best in a quiet home with older teens and must meet all family members at the time of adoption to ensure she feels comfortable. She's ideally suited to being the only dog, but may be able to live with a calm, social male of similar size after a successful meet.
No dog parks or off-leash areas for this girl-she finds them too overwhelming. But with the right home, Grace will blossom into the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ask for.
