Bonnie is a tender little soul wrapped in soft fur and quiet courage.
She's the kind of girl who watches the world with big, thoughtful eyes, taking everything in before deciding it's safe to let her heart peek through. Loud noises and unfamiliar faces can make her shrink back at first, but give her time, patience, and a calm presence, and she begins to unfurl like a shy flower in spring.
Once Bonnie feels secure, her affectionate side shines through in the sweetest ways - gentle lean‑ins, soft nudges, and that subtle "I trust you" closeness that feels like a gift. She doesn't demand attention; she offers it delicately, like a whisper.
Bonnie draws a lot of comfort from other dogs. A steady, confident canine companion can help her feel grounded, showing her that the world isn't as scary as it seems. She follows their lead, borrowing their bravery until she grows her own.
She does have some resource guarding around other dogs, but never with people. With structure, awareness, and an experienced home, this is something that can be managed smoothly.
Bonnie isn't looking for a loud or busy life - she's hoping for a peaceful home with humans who understand sensitive dogs and celebrate progress measured in tiny steps. With the right people, she will blossom into a deeply loyal, quietly loving companion who gives her whole heart once she feels safe.

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
