Hi, I’m Caesar

Caesar will do best with a gentle, patient start in his new home. Beginning in a small launch room and allowing him time to settle before exploring the rest of the house will help him feel safe, as large open spaces can be overwhelming for him at first. He will thrive in an environment rich with cat-friendly resources, including scratch posts, cat trees, cosy hides such as cardboard boxes or cat igloos, and access to shelves or dressers to provide plenty of safe spaces both high and low throughout the home. Caesar is expected to be timid when first settling into a new environment and may take a little time before showing his true personality, so a calm, understanding adopter who can respect his pace will help him flourish.
Caesar would be best suited to a home with teens who can read and understand basic cat body language and know when to give him space. He may do okay living with another cat, although he has not been tested with cats in the shelter, so introductions should be slow and thoughtful, ensuring both cats have space to move away while getting to know one another. He may also do well in a home with a calm, social dog, provided interactions are carefully monitored. With time, patience, and the right setup, Caesar has great potential to settle in and feel secure in his new family.
