Hi, I’m Kira

Kira is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a calm and understanding home where she can feel safe and take life at her own pace. Being a very nervous and shy girl, Kira will need a quiet household with either a single person or a calm couple, as busy environments and frequent visitors can be overwhelming for her.

To help build her confidence, Kira must go to a home with another social, well-mannered dog who can guide her and provide reassurance. A peaceful environment with minimal noise, along with a consistent daily routine, will be key in helping her settle and feel secure.

Kira will need patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. She may be withdrawn at first, but with kindness, gentle encouragement, and positive reinforcement, she will slowly begin to come out of her shell. Having a safe space where she can retreat when feeling overwhelmed will be very important for her.

A secure yard with safe fencing is essential, as nervous dogs can be prone to flight when frightened. Kira is best suited to a quieter lifestyle and will thrive with someone who is happy to move at her pace and celebrate the small milestones along the way.

With time, patience, and love, Kira has so much potential to form a deep and incredibly rewarding bond with her new family.
